Sacramental Preparation

The Sacraments are outward and visible signs of inward and invisible grace. Far from mere symbols or rites of passage, the Sacraments are at the heart of the Catholic faith. Those interested in receiving a Sacrament at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish should attend Mass and introduce themselves to the Pastor. 

Baptism. This adaptable program is designed to encourage the participation of parents in their child’s preparation for initiation into Christ’s Body. All Baptisms are scheduled on the third Sunday of each month during Mass. (Please note that there are no baptisms during Lent). Contact Dave for more information, or register for the program.

First Reconciliation and Communion. This adaptable program is designed to encourage the participation of parents in their child’s preparation. Contact Dave for more information, or register for the program.

Confirmation. Our preparation program for youth involves formation classes, attendance at Youth Group, a special confirmation retreat and attendance at the yearly Steubenville Atlantic high school retreat. This program starts in the spring and runs through to the fall when confirmation is scheduled with the Archbishop. Contact Dave for more information, or register for the program.

RCIA. A program for adults looking to join the Catholic Church with rolling enrolment. Contact Dave for more information.
