Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish offers multiple opportunities and pathways to grow in faith, find community, and serve others.

Children
During Sunday Masses, we offer Children's Liturgy for kids under 12 to experience an age appropriate lesson on the day's gospel.
During the Summer we offer Vacation Bible School (VBS), a fun day-camp experience for children to engage their faith.
On Wednesday mornings at 9:30am, a community of mothers with young children meets in the Parish Centre for Pray & Play, a time of conversation, playtime, snacks, and prayer.

Youth
Youth in Grades 7-12 are invited to youth group every Tuesday from 6:30-8:15pm in the OLG Parish Centre. Youth Group is a space to explore life, connect with God, and discover what faith really means in an engaging and joyful way.
The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth hosts an annual youth conference called Steubenville Atlantic and we send a group every year.

Young Adults
Our parish Young Adult Group gathers every Saturday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Parish Center.
Together, we dive into meaningful conversations, explore how faith impacts our daily lives, and share in fellowship with one another. Whether you’re new to the parish or have been around for a while, you are warmly welcome!

Monday Night More
Mondays at 6:30pm
Monday Night More (MNM) is a series of faith study groups held at the parish center on Monday evenings and online via Zoom. These groups provide an opportunity to delve into various aspects of the Catholic Christian Faith through a variety of courses.

Jesus and Men (JAM)
Saturdays at 8:45am
The Jesus And Men (JAM) mission is to bring men closer to Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Through fellowship, we serve and help each other in our journeys of faith.

Food
The Dartmouth North Christian Food Bank is a partnership with Life Branch Church. ​The food bank is located at 27 Farrell St and is open every Thursday, from 9:30-12:00pm

Our Lady's Pantry provides non-perishable food and pantry items. Please contact our office to arrange a pick-up (902) 466-6183
The FOOD ministry at OLG prepares over 900 meals a month for Margaret's House
The Mobile Food Market operates out of OLG-Saint Anthony and offers an open market on Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30pm.

Shelter
In partnership with the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth, we host to two Crisis Shelter units.​​
The House of Hope is a partnership with Souls Harbour Rescue Mission and provides a transitional housing option for men recovering from addiction.
The Refugee Committee has been working to bring a family of six to Canada.

Mental Health
Our parish runs peer support mental health programs throughout the year.
The Souls Harbour Mobile Mission operates out of OLG-Saint Anthony.
The ReachOut Bipolar Support Group meets once a week at OLG-Saint Anthony.
We partner with Concilio Prison Ministry to host two Kairos Marathon Circles a year at OLG-Saint Anthony.

To provide excellent faith formation resources, the Parish partners with Formed.
