Care Ministries

Funerals. We are honoured to walk with you and your family during the loss of a loved one. Our Funeral Ministry is here to help.

Anointing of the Sick. We offer Anointing of the Sick during our last Monday Mass of each month at 9am at the St. Peter’s site. This sacrament is for anyone who is ill, suffering from chronic pain, going for surgery, or struggling under the burden of years.

Communion in the Community. If you or a loved one are unable to attend Mass, are homebound, or hospitalized, a volunteer Extraordinary Minister of Communion can arrange to bring the Eucharist to you where you are in the community. You can call our office, select option 5 and leave a message or fill out this form to request the Eucharist. You can also participate in the liturgy from home by viewing our Sunday Mass livestream at 11am.

Dartmouth North Christian Food Bank. Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish partners with Life Branch Baptist Church to operate the Dartmouth North Christian Food Bank at 27 Farrell Street. The food bank is open for operation to our clients every Thursday, from 9:30am-12pm.

Wellness and Faith. This is a weekly drop-in group, Friday's 6-7pm in the Parish Centre led by two co-facilitators with mental health training. A judgement-free zone to share your experiences. For more information click here or check out this video on our YouTube.
